Site Foreman | Supervisor
TechForce
Job Description
Are you a hands-on Leading Hand or Supervisor who still enjoys being on the tools, but is ready to step up and take more ownership on-site? Do you take pride in running a tight crew, keeping quality high, and getting jobs delivered with minimal rework?
Techforce is proud to be partnering with a well-established mechanical services contractor with a strong pipeline of commercial and light-industrial work across SA (and occasional support nationally). They are looking for a junior-to-mid level Working Foreman—someone practical, reliable, and keen to grow long-term into the role.
About the Role:
Based in Adelaide, you’ll take ownership of day-to-day site delivery across mechanical plumbing scopes. You’ll be the link between the project team and the crews on the ground—driving standards, productivity, and site culture.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Running day-to-day site activities and keeping works moving to program
- Leading a small crew (and jumping on the tools when required)
- Supervising mechanical plumbing installation in line with drawings, specs and standards
- Coordinating with other trades (electrical, fire, structural, builders) to avoid clashes and rework
- Driving WHS compliance (pre-starts, SWMS/JHAs, permits where required)
- Managing quality on-site including check points/ITPs and basic documentation
- Reporting progress, constraints and upcoming works back to the PM/Construction Manager
- Supporting other projects/interstate mobilisations as required during peak periods
About You:
You’re a hands-on operator who leads from the front. You don’t need to be a seasoned Superintendent—this is suited to someone who has run small teams and wants to build into a stronger leadership position over time.
You will have:
- Trade background in Mechanical Plumbing / HVAC / Pipefitting (commercial experience essential)
- Leading Hand / Supervisor experience (small teams is fine)
- Strong site coordination skills and the ability to work off drawings/programs
- A practical, “get it done properly” mindset with high attention to safety and quality
- Good communication skills and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders on-site
- A genuine long-term outlook (someone who wants stability and growth, not a short-term hop)
What’s on Offer:
This is a genuine long-term opportunity with a business that backs its people and promotes from within.
- Competitive salary package based on experience
- Stable pipeline of work and strong project support
- Clear pathway to grow into a more senior Foreman role
- Supportive team culture with high standards on safety and delivery
