Job Tasks and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Lead, train and mentor a team of supervisors, planners and engineers responsible for Field Maintenance in the Open Cut Maintenance Team.

• The safe completion of all Maintenance plans and activities within Field Maintenance.

• Providing Field Maintenance staff with clear objectives whilst being able to meet day-to-day Maintenance targets.

• Understand & achieve Safety, Availability & MTBF requirements for OC Field Maintenance Performance.

Skills and Experience

Essential Criteria:

• A nationally recognised trade qualification.

• Proven leadership ability with a very strong commitment to safety.

• Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to work effectively and efficiently with all departments, ensuring alignment, clear communication, and timely delivery of outcomes.

• Minimum 4 years’ experience in Supervisory level role.

• Sound knowledge of Liebherr, Cat and Komatsu equipment.

• Strong knowledge of statutory laws and regulations governing open cut maintenance.
