Refrigeration Technician - Full Time - Origin

Join a small, established maintenance team on a permanent 14/7 days‑only roster, supporting the ongoing operations of a remote accommodation village. This role offers stability, strong earning potential and access to training and career development, with all PPE, flights, inductions, accommodation and chef‑made meals provided.

We are seeking a qualified Refrigeration Technician/HVAC Technician to commence a full‑time permanent position. FIFO is available from Brisbane, with DIDO options for nearby residents. You’ll be joining a team of around 20 Delta staff who work together to keep the village running safely and efficiently.

The Position

• Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will ensure continuity of essential building and engineering services across a complex remote environment.
• Planned and preventative maintenance, breakdown response, cleaning and fault‑finding across commercial and residential HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Work across temporary and permanent accommodation, commercial kitchens, dining rooms, laundries, offices and village facilities.
• Prioritise works, meet rectification deadlines and support the broader maintenance team.
• Additional allowances available including on‑call, minimum call‑out penalties and Leading Hand allowance where applicable.

The Person

• Unrestricted ARCTICK Licence
• QLD Electrical Licence
• QBCC Licence
• Full C Class Drivers Licence
• White Card
• CPR + LVR
• Police Check within 12 months
• Pass a Pre-Employment Medical including Drug & Alcohol Screening
• Team player and able to work autonomously
• Reside in QLD and able fly from Brisbane Airport for ongoing work
