About the Role

Reporting to the maintenance team onsite, you’ll be responsible for the safe and efficient management of OTR tyres across a large-scale mining fleet.

Your duties will include:

• Fitting, removing, and repairing heavy earthmoving tyres
• Conducting inspections, rotations, and pressure monitoring
• Removing and refitting wheel and rim assemblies
• Monitoring tyre condition and recording performance data
• Operating support equipment as required
• Working closely with maintenance personnel to minimise downtime
• Maintaining high safety and housekeeping standards across all tasks

About You

You are a safety-focused Tyre Fitter with previous experience working in mining or heavy earthmoving environments. You take pride in producing quality work and can work effectively both independently and within a team. To be successful, you will have:

• Previous experience working with OTR / heavy earthmoving tyres
• AURKTJ011 – Remove, inspect and fit OTR tyres
• AURKTJ012 – Carry out wheel and rim assembly activities
• RIIMPO208F – Operate support equipment
• RIISAM202E – Isolate and access plant
• RIISAM301F – Test operational functions of equipment
• Current Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical, or the ability to obtain
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and teamwork
