Pump Fitter

The Nitty Gritty

• Take charge of keeping our critical pump fleet running.
• In this hands-on role, you’ll service, maintain, and repair submersible and helical (positive displacement) pumps—primarily based in your own rebuild workshop, with occasional underground work for on-site maintenance and repairs.
• This opportunity is ideal for someone with an electro-mechanical background—whether you’re an Electrician with strong mechanical skills or a mechanically minded professional with Restricted Electrical (Disconnect/Reconnect) certification.

What you Bring

• Trade qualifications – mechanical fitting or equivalent
• Proven experience working with mechanical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings/ schematics.
• Ability to work safely, within the bounds of a Mining environment.
• Be proactive in carrying out required repair work in a timely manner.
• Basic computer literacy skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a member of a team.

The Company

Tritton Operations

Tritton Copper Operations is a long-life copper mine located near the towns of Nyngan and Cobar in central New South Wales. Commencing production in 2005, Tritton is 100% owned and operated by Aeris Resources and forms the cornerstone of our copper production.

Tritton mines from multiple sources and as we look to bring more mines into production, we are are transitioning to a ‘hub-and-spoke’ model where ore is transported to our centralised mill for processing.
