The Role

In this position, you’ll be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing heavy mobile mining equipment to ensure safe and efficient site operations. This is a hands-on role suited to skilled tradespeople who take pride in their workmanship and thrive in a team-focused, safety-driven environment.

Key Duties

• Carry out scheduled servicing, maintenance, and inspections
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs on heavy mobile plant
• Undertake component replacements and major rebuilds
• Respond to breakdowns and minimise equipment downtime
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Follow all site safety systems, procedures, and compliance standards

About You

• Trade qualified: Heavy Diesel Fitter or Plant Mechanic
• Demonstrated post-trade experience in mining or heavy industry
• Strong background working on heavy earthmoving equipment
• Current Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical (or willingness to obtain)
• Valid Queensland Driver’s Licence
• Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
