About the Role

This is a field-based role supporting breakdowns, scheduled maintenance, diagnostics and repairs across multiple mining operations near Blackwater. You’ll work independently in the field while backed by a strong maintenance team focused on safety, reliability and keeping equipment productive.

You’ll be working on large-scale mining and ancillary equipment, troubleshooting faults and delivering high-quality maintenance in demanding operational environments.

About You

You’re a trade-qualified Diesel Fitter with previous experience working on heavy mining equipment in the field. You take pride in your work, value safety, and can manage tasks independently while building strong relationships on site. You will bring:

• Trade qualification as a Diesel Fitter, Heavy Vehicle Mechanic or Plant Mechanic
• Experience maintaining heavy earthmoving or mining equipment
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding capability
• Current Queensland driver's licence
• Commitment to safe work practices and quality workmanship
• Ability to work autonomously across multiple sites
