Trainee Nipper Operator
Role Details
Reporting to the Underground Supervisor, the Trainee: Nipper will learn how to assist the mining team to achieve daily targets while working closely with the underground operators, ensuring that all tasks are carried out in a timely and efficient manner

Duties of the role:
- Be organized and prepared to undertake all assigned tasks by the supervisor
- Learn to source and deliver equipment such as tools, piping, services, and anything else that is needed for the smooth operation of the underground mine
- Develop skills in waste removal, transporting items from underground work areas to waste dumps
- Assist Jumbo Operators with bolting and meshing as required
- Gain knowledge in setting up headings with bolts and mesh, and assist service crew when required
- Ensure all pre-starts are completed and arrive fit for work for all rostered days
About You:
- Current Manual Drivers License
- Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal
- Competent to work 12 hour shifts, including nights
- Previous labouring, mobile operating or paste fill experience highly regarded

About the role

- Efficiently conducting Excavators, Face Shovels and other mobile plant activities in the Fimiston Open Pit (KCGM Superpit) to ensure that production targets are achieved in a timely and safe manner.
- Ensuring trucks are loaded correctly and to target capacity from the correct bench level and maintaining a circuit of evenly spaced trucks to ensure consistent delivery of both ore and waste.
- Working with and assisting technical staff such as Geologists and Geotechnical staff to ensure all work is carried out to the required standard and in accordance with the production schedule.
- Engaging in pre-shift work planning, ensuring work is undertaken as per the dig plan, assisting in the identification of hazards and ensuring efficient utilisation of mobile plant.
- Coordinating and managing the assigned work area directing dozers and trucks over the radio. Conducting active communications with dispatchers on ground conditions.
To thrive in this role, you’ll need:
Experience:
Essential
- Minimum five (5) years ancillary operating experience in a hard rock mining environment.
- Minimum two (2) years shovel (five hundred (500) tonnes+) operating experience
- Strong understanding of mining sequence process and activities.
- Good computer literacy with the ability to use integrated management systems, spreadsheet applications and word processing software.
- Exposure to a range of workplace safety systems.
- Must reside locally in the Goldfields region, or willing to relocate for this residential role.
Preferred
- Five (5) years shovel operating experience.
- Attainment of Field Training certification (Field Based Training and Assessment 10235NAT)
- Attainment of S44 certification
Qualifications: Current Unencumbered Western Australian “C” Class Manual Drivers Licence.

Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience on large scale bulk earth works or major construction projects

Wet Plant Process Operator - FIFO 2/1
The Opportunity
We are seeking skilled Wet Plant Process Operators to join our team at the Wodgina Lithium Processing Plant. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating all plant sections, including Grinding, Flotation, LIMS/WHIMS separation, Thickening, Filtration, Control Room, concentrate load-out, and tailings disposal. Key responsibilities include monitoring and optimizing operations, maintaining high housekeeping standards, and conducting daily inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
Full-time positions are based on a 2/1 roster with rotating day and night shifts and offering Fly In, Fly Out from Perth WA and Brisbane QLD.

Programmed Energy and Resources is currently seeking experienced Mining Mobile Equipment Operators for a major Iron Ore site in the Pilbara region. These are FIFO roles on a family-friendly 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off roster, flying from Perth.
We are looking for operators with proven experience on mine-sized equipment only - not civil.
What we are looking for:
- Minimum 12 months experience operating mobile equipment in a mine site environment
- Experience operating any of the following is highly regarded:
- CAT 793
- Dozers (D10/D11)
- Graders (16M through to 24M)
- Excavators (Hitachi 3600/EX2500 or similar)
- Loaders and Ancillary gear
- Must hold a current Driver's Licence and White Card
- Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical, including Drug & Alcohol Screening
- National Police Clearance issued within the last 6 months

Mining Production Excavator Operators with proven work history operating any of the following machines with additional experience with the Komatsu Frontrunner AHS in an open pit hard-rock mining environment will be highly regarded.

About the role:
- Always act in a manner that seeks to enhance the safety culture and performance of GFA and ensures that the Vital behaviours, safety procedures and policies are always adhered to
- Replenish fluids in the field and assist with the maintenance of all mobile equipment, including refuelling and lubing, identifying faults on equipment during preventative maintenance servicing as directed by the supervisor.
- Work with operations and dispatch teams to ensure that equipment servicing is completed at the optimum time during the shift with the least impact to production activities

- Complete all administrative processing requirements associated with maintenance duties, such as requisitioning of parts and materials, processing of maintenance orders, recording of labour time, etc. through the efficient utilisation of SAP/AMT and other relevant information management systems

- Previous experience in Komatsu and Caterpillar fleets (desirable)
- Holding a valid WA drivers license is mandatory; HR preferred
- Tickets and certificates such as Apply First Aid, Crane, Dogging, EWP and Forklift are advantageous

The opportunity
We’re seeking a driven and experienced Operator Maintainer Technician – HV to support our Power Plant team. This is your chance to be part of something new and exciting in the Pilbara. This role will be on a permanent basis, 2/1 FIFO day shift roster FIFO from Perth to Cape Preston.
In this role you’ll be responsible for the operation, maintenance, technical fault finding, HV switching and improvements to the HV Power network, including generation, transmission and distribution networks in order to ensure consistent and reliable power supply, as well as ensuring the safe operation of high voltage equipment and systems.
As an Operator Maintainer Technician – HV you will also analyse complex technical systems, determine the cause of malfunctions and contribute your specialist advice to identify opportunities to improve systems and processes, reducing waste and optimising resources.
To be successful in the role you must have the following qualifications:
- It is essential that you have at least 3 years power network operations and maintenance experience
- Candidates with trade qualifications (Electrical) will be looked upon most favourably,
- Experience in HV equipment operations, maintenance and testing. Including sound knowledge of in HV operational and isolation procedures
- High voltage switching ticket is desirable
- Sound understanding of power system protection equipment and its operation
- SAP Maintenance Management System experience is desirable
- A current WA Manual Drivers licence is an essential requirement
In addition you will perform maintenance, improvements and technical fault finding.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage bore fields and pit dewatering operations, including setup, maintenance, and operation of pumps and pipelines.
- Perform poly welding on pipelines and repair or reconfigure dewatering infrastructure.

- Regularly inspect and maintain dewatering systems, with consistent performance reporting.

Qualifications and Experience
- Experience with open-pit dewatering, submersible, and surface pumps.

We are seeking a skilled Reverse Osmosis Water Treatment Operator to join our team at the Wodgina lithium processing plant. Reporting to the Paste Fill Coordinator you will be responsible for the installation of underground Paste Fill infrastructure, operating and maintenance of paste plant, QAQC of paste fill samples and for the provision of quality and efficient paste fill service.

Duties of the role:

About the Role
South Flank is BHP's newest iron ore mine, and the biggest in 50 years. It expands existing infrastructure at Mining Area C, adding 80 Mtpa of new crushing and screening capacity, an extensive overland conveyor system, expanded stockyards and new train loading facilities to form the largest iron ore hub in the Pilbara region. Its brand new mining fleet is the biggest and best in class, and is being progressively converted to autonomous operation, in line with South Flank's future-facing design.

Northern Star Resources has an exciting opportunity at our world class Thunderbox****Operations for an experienced Gold Room Technicianworking on an 8 days on, 6 days off roster FIFO ex Perth.
The Gold Room Technician reports to the Processing Supervisor and the primary role is to operate all gold recovery sections of the Processing Plant, along with the day to day running of the gold room. This includes all gravity concentration equipment with ILR, Elution, Regeneration and Electrowinning circuits with each circuit to be operated in accordance with specified parameters to optimise gold production/recovery. This also includes basic maintenance of operational equipment within the nominated areas. Strict compliance of all site security requirements, for the safe and secure handling of gold bullion.

- Maintaining a high level of security and vigilance as well as completing accurate records and log sheets
- Operating various plant and equipment in accordance with documented safe work procedures
- The operation of the gold recovery processes according to process parameters and control limits in accordance with documented safe work procedures

This role will be offered on 4 days on, 4 nights on, 6 days off roster and you will be residential in Kambalda or Kalgoorlie. Bus transportation between Kalgoorlie and site is provided.

In this role you will be responsible for:

Role Details:
Gold Fields Australia is currently seeking a Paste Fill Operator to join their Underground Production Team at St Ives Gold Mine.
Reporting to the Paste Fill Coordinator you will be responsible for the installation of underground Paste Fill infrastructure, operating and maintenance of paste plant, QAQC of paste fill samples and for the provision of quality and efficient paste fill service.
This role is offered on 4 days on, 4 nights on, 6 days off, 11-hour roster and would be residential in Kambalda or Kalgoorlie. Bus transportation is offered to and from site daily and relocation assistance will be offered to the successful candidate if required.

Ensure paste walls, paste reticulation, relevant instrumentation, compressed air, ventilation infrastructure, water and dewatering pipe systems are installed on time and according to specifications.
