About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Construction Supervisor to oversee the safe and efficient delivery of construction trade activities in a Back-to-Back (B2B) position supporting ongoing BAU operations. In this role, you will coordinate site resources, supervise trades, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required safety and quality standards.
Working closely with the BAU team, you will play a key role in managing day-to-day site operations, supporting supervisors, and ensuring all work aligns with project schedules, operational requirements, and company procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate construction trades and site activities.
- Interpret project plans, drawings, and construction schedules.
- Implement and enforce strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage labour, materials, and resources to maintain project timelines.
- Monitor site progress and report updates to the Construction Management Team.
- Identify risks or delays and implement solutions to keep projects on track.
- Ensure compliance with WHS, environmental, and quality standards.
- Conduct site inspections and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate material orders, deliveries, and site storage.
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 3 years proven experience in on-site building and construction supervision.
- Provide First Aid Training.
- Current drivers licence.
- Strong understanding of construction scheduling and trade coordination.
- Knowledge of WHS and construction compliance requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and plans.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Builders Licence (desirable).
- Supervisors Licence (desirable).
- Certificate 4 in Occupational Health and Safety or Frontline Management (desirable).
