About the Role

Electrical Supervisor role on the Carmichael Mine site, reporting to the maintenance and operations teams and responsible for supervising and coordinating the day-to-day electrical maintenance and repair activities while ensuring safety compliance and alignment with project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Working to comply with the site Safety Health Management System
• Supervising and coordination of the day-to-day electrical maintenance and repair activities - CAT 796 and Liebherr T264
• Ancillary and infrastructure electrical work is also required
• Allocation of competent resources to tasks
• Perform statutory inspections ensuring electrical installations and equipment are in accordance with the Mine Safety and Inspection Regulations, Australian Standard Electrical Installations and are maintained in a safe working condition
• Leading/mentoring, and effectively managing a multi-skilled crew
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and work within teams to develop and implement solutions.

About You / Requirements

• Trade qualified Electrician with experience in Electric Drive Trucks!
• Demonstrated success in maintaining an excellent safety record for teams
• Current Mining Supervisor – G1, G8, G9 (formerly S1, S2, S3)
• Current Carry out the Risk Management Process – G2
• Coal Board Medical (or willingness to obtain)
• Standard 11 (or willingness to obtain)
• Demonstrated experience leading a team committed to meeting demanding project deadlines and juggling conflicting priorities
