Maintenance Superintendent

About the Role

Thiess is looking for an exceptional HME Superintendent to take charge of all site maintenance activities for our project. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with legislative requirements, Thiess procedures, and OEM recommendations.

• Fostering a strong and collaborative work team.

• Demonstrating and upholding a high standard of safety leadership.

• Cultivating a culture of high performance within the maintenance team.

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders.

• Driving continuous improvement and effective asset management to meet budget utilization rates.

• Ensuring compliance with statutory obligations.

• We are looking for someone who:

• Prioritizes people and can lead high-performing teams while building strong relationships across all levels of the organization.

• Boasts extensive experience in mining maintenance, with a proven track record of delivering excellent results.

• Places a strong emphasis on client relationships.

• Holds a mechanical trade qualification along with significant experience in mining maintenance.

• Possesses knowledge of relevant mining-related legislation, including codes of practice and Australian Standards.
