About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Supply Superintendent to lead the supply, procurement and contracts function on site. This role is responsible for driving best-practice supply chain outcomes, ensuring compliance with company and statutory requirements, and partnering with operational leaders to deliver commercial value across the business.

You will play a key leadership role across procurement, contract management, and stores, ensuring the timely and cost-effective supply of goods and services while maintaining strong governance and risk management frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the site-based supply, procurement and contracts function
• Oversee purchasing, inventory, and stores operations to ensure efficient site support
• Manage end-to-end contract lifecycle including tendering, negotiation, execution and performance
• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned to operational and commercial objectives
• Drive cost control, budget management and value improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with company policies, statutory requirements and company standards
• Partner with site leadership teams to identify and deliver continuous improvement opportunities
• Monitor contractor performance and enforce contract governance frameworks
• Support logistics and offsite repairs processes to maintain critical stock availability
• Prepare and report on contract performance, supply metrics and operational outcomes
• Provide visible, hands-on leadership across the supply function
• Build and lead a high-performing team, setting clear expectations and accountability
• Coach, mentor and develop team capability and succession planning
• Foster strong cross-functional relationships across site departments

Key Requirements

• 7+ years’ experience in a superintendent or senior supply/procurement role within the resources sector
• 10+ years’ experience in mining or heavy industry environments
• Proven experience managing tenders, contracts and contractor performance
• Strong SAP experience, particularly across Procure-to-Pay and Materials Management
• Degree in Business, Commerce or a related discipline preferred
