A major Australian mining operation is seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to lead electrical infrastructure performance across site, with an operational focus on Mill and Port facilities.
This role is responsible for safe and reliable electrical maintenance, team leadership, and continuous improvement across a large‑scale mining environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and embed a proactive, high‑performance safety culture across the electrical function
• Oversee electrical infrastructure maintenance, spares, condition monitoring and life‑cycle planning
• Manage instrumentation, control systems and site IT/communications networks
• Deliver effective maintenance scheduling, project planning and asset‑management practices
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to achieve measurable operational outcomes
• Ensure compliance with statutory, environmental and electrical licencing obligations
• Manage cost control, budgeting and financial performance of the electrical division
• Lead, mentor and develop a high‑performing electrical team

About You

You are an experienced electrical leader with strong technical capability and proven people‑management experience in mining or minerals processing.

Essential qualifications and experience:

• Electrical Trade or Degree qualification
• Ability to obtain an NT electrical contractor licence
• High Voltage Switching certification
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in electrical infrastructure management
• Strong knowledge of asset maintenance systems and financial management
• Understanding of minerals processing systems and operational interdependencies
• Demonstrated experience in risk, safety and compliance management
• Proven leadership capability in building high‑performance teams
