Leading Hand - Electrical - Operations

The Role

Linkforce has been awarded the Sample Station Project at Cape Lambert, a specialised scope involving the installation, integration, and commissioning of electrical systems within a high technology sample laboratory, including advanced robotic systems. We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Leading Hand to support the delivery of key work packages on this technically complex project.

This role will be offered on a 2:1 FIFO roster with responsibilities including:

• Leading by example on the tools, promoting safety, quality workmanship, and productive work

• Coordinating and supporting electricians, trades assistants and apprentices while reinforcing company policies, safe work practices, and positive team culture

• Completing risk assessments, address hazards, assist with JHAs/toolbox talks, and maintain compliance with electrical legislation.

• Occasionally steppingup as Electrical Supervisor as required

• Supporting shutdown and projects activities, tooling/consumable management, equipment upkeep, and continuous improvement initiatives.

What You will Need

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate experience in a similar role, with the ability to demonstrate:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a qualified electrician in mining construction projects and shutdown environments

• Strong understanding of electrical maintenance, installations, cable pulling, terminations, and fixedplant systems

• Strong work ethic, selfmotivation, and proactive mindset
