Description & Requirements

We are seeking experienced and qualified Construction SMP Supervisors to join our team and contribute shutdowns for BHP in Port Hedland. As a Construction Supervisor, you will report directly to the Construction Manager and be responsible for overseeing the structural, mechanical and piping works. Your leadership, problem-solving expertise, and commitment to safety will be vital in ensuring that all work is completed on time, within scope, and to the highest industry standards. Join us and play an integral role contributing to the successful delivery of this major project. 

We are seeking multi-disciplinary Construction Supervisors with expertise in the following areas: 

• Piping Supervisor 

• Rigging Supervisor 

• Mechanical Supervisor

 • Structural Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership, mentoring and guidance to the workforce personnel
• Actively monitor work practices and coach employees to ensure adherence to correct HSE policies and procedures
• Review performance and manage any performance issues as per Monadelphous procedures
• Communicate with client representatives to inform them on the progress of the project and resolve any issues
• Plan and organise work to meet the projects requirements and promote productivity
• Adhere to all site rules and inspire crew to work safely and efficiently
• Coordinate & Delegate work to your crew

What you’ll bring:

• Valid Australian Driver’s Licence
• Supervisory experience ideally on major shutdowns/mining/resources projects working for top tier construction contractors
• A customer-centric mindset and strong value of safety
• Proven leadership capabilities developing and leading a cohesive and high-performance team
• An innovative approach to problem solving, continuous improvement and successful delivery methods
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, particularly in high-pressure situations
• Proven track record of meeting project deadlines and delivering high-quality work
• Strong communication skills and the ability to deliver a message effectively
• A proactive, motivated mindset and someone who thrives when working under pressure
• Proof of right to work in Australia
