The Opportunity

Crushing Screen International is seeking a skilled Processing Manager to lead our lithium crushing and processing operation with a strong focus on wet plant activities. You’ll be responsible for driving safe, efficient, and cost-effective production while ensuring strict adherence to safety and environmental standards. Your expertise will be pivotal in optimising maintenance and operations, improving productivity, and delivering profitability across our lithium operation. This dynamic role operates on a 5:2/4:3 roster, offering the opportunity to make a real impact on site performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee planning, preparation, and execution of processing activities to ensure efficient execution and carried out in the correct manner with respect to quality and safety.
  • Organise action registers to address safety and management issued highlighted from daily inspections.
  • Implement and maintain cost effective processing procedures to achieve optimum plant output, availability, reliability, and performance.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement activities associated with the planning and performance to ensure the smooth running of the processing facilities.
  • Development and management of the Processing budget, verifying that plant costs are managed effectively and reported accurately within established timeframes.
  • Ensure Quality, Environmental and other Company policies are implemented, maintained and progressively improved.
  • In conjunction with the Human Resources Department, ensure that all staff working onsite are suitably qualified to carry out the work.
  • Conduct new employee and staff annual reviews professionally and timely in accordance with procedure.

What is Required?

  • Advanced Management experience in Operating & Maintaining both Crushing & Wet plants, including exposure to dense media separation processes.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with demonstrated proficiency in managing crushing operations, processes and maintenance practices.
  • Ability to efficiently plan and coordinate daily Operational and Maintenance activities.
  • Current Schedule 26 Statutory Supervisor. This role will also fill in as site Alternate SSE.
