Rope Access Supervisor

About You / Requirements

• Current IRATA qualification
• Previous experience leading Rope Access crews within shutdown or maintenance environments
• Strong commitment to safety leadership and operational standards
• Ability to manage crews, productivity, and changing operational priorities
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Experience working within Tier 1 mining environments highly regarded
• Rio Tinto experience beneficial
• Positive attitude and strong team-focused approach

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise Rope Access crews across shutdown and maintenance works
• Ensure all works are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with site and IRATA requirements
• Coordinate daily work activities, task planning, and workforce productivity
• Conduct pre-starts, toolbox meetings, and site safety interactions
• Monitor progress and communicate updates to Superintendents and operational teams
• Mentor and support Rope Access Technicians to build capability and team culture
• Ensure accurate completion of reporting, timesheets, and operational documentation
