Breight Group is seeking experienced and driven Rope Access Superintendent's to lead our Rope Access operations across our operations with Rio Tinto.

This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing workforce performance, operational delivery, safety, productivity, and client outcomes across multiple work fronts within our Rio Tinto team.

We are looking for a strong leader who thrives in fast-paced operational environments, builds high-performing teams, and is passionate about delivering work safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive a strong safety-first culture and ensure compliance with Breight Group and Rio Tinto standards
  • Coordinate with Supervisors, client stakeholders, and internal stakeholders to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget
  • Oversee execution and demobilisation activities across multiple jobs
  • Monitor productivity, utilisation, and project performance, providing reporting on progress and operational outcomes
  • Ensure Rope Access systems, equipment, and work practices meet IRATA and site compliance requirements
  • Mentor and develop Supervisors and Rope Access Technicians, fostering leadership capability and continuous improvement
  • Support procurement, equipment management, and operational logistics requirements

About You:
To succeed in this role, you will bring:

  • Experience in a leadership role within the Rope Access industry
  • Strong operational experience across maintenance and shutdown environments
  • Proven ability to lead large workforces and manage multiple concurrent scopes of work
  • Strong understanding of Rope Access systems, operational planning, and industry requirements
  • Ability to drive productivity, workforce utilisation, and operational performance
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong commercial and operational awareness
  • Prior Rio Tinto experience highly regarded
  • Absolute commitment to safety and team culture
