About the Role

This role will see you working in a hands-on leadership capacity within a production and workshop environment, coordinating staff and ensuring production activities are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. You will be responsible for leading the team on shift, maintaining production targets, and supporting the ongoing development of workshop personnel.

• Monday to Friday 6am – 2pm or 8am – 4pm

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise production staff on shift within a cooling tower manufacturing environment
• Ensure production targets are achieved in line with production schedules
• Monitor process controls and maintain accurate production and quality records
• Maintain compliance with WHS, quality, and safety management systems
• Identify and report product, process, and quality issues promptly
• Support stock control, storage, and distribution of cooling tower components
• Ensure equipment and work areas remain clean, safe, and operational
• Assist with training, mentoring, and development of production staff

Requirements

• Previous experience in a Leading Hand or Supervisory role within manufacturing, fabrication, HVAC, or similar industries
• Strong understanding of production processes, quality systems, and workplace safety standards
• Ability to confidently lead teams and make decisions on the workshop floor
• Mechanically minded with basic maintenance knowledge (highly desirable)
• Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team environment
• Full Australian working rights
• Driver’s Licence and reliable transport
