About the Role
NRW Holdings is seeking a Payroll Officer to join our payroll team. Our department processes payroll for multiple business units within the Group making this a high-volume, fast paced role that requires strong organisation and attention to detail. The NRW payroll team is currently seeking an experienced Payroll Officer or a junior candidate who is eager to learn, motivated and ready to develop a long-term career in payroll. Training and support will be provided for the right person.
You will be responsible for but not limited to:
- Ensuring all timesheets and records are accurate and processed in a timely manner
- Supporting the accurate and timely processing of employee & regulatory payments
- Setting up and maintaining accurate employee records
- Responding to payroll queries and requests in a timely and professional manner
- Assisting with payroll reporting, audits and compliance obligations
- Working closely with HR & Finance teams
- Providing assistance to other Payroll Officers
About You / Requirements
- At least 1 year payroll or administrative experience (e.g., reception, accounts)
- Experience in Microsoft Office suite (e.g., Outlook, Excel)
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- A strong focus on customer service along with strong communication skills
- Demonstrated understanding of payroll terminology and processes is a plus
- Experience using PayGlobal is advantageous but not essential
