About the Role

As a Haul Truck Operator, you will be responsible for the operation of large haul trucks in a safe and efficient manner, conduct pre-starts, inspections and routine checks. The role requires strong communication skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work 12.5‑hour shifts on a 7/7 FIFO roster. This role suits operators with proven experience on CAT 777 or above who are looking for strong earning potential and a genuine work–life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Operation of large haul trucks (CAT 777 or above) in a safe and efficient manner
• Conduct pre-starts, inspections and routine checks
• Communicate effectively with team
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety
• Maintain a team-focused attitude with a positive work ethic
• Work 12.5-hour shifts on a 7/7 FIFO roster

About You / Requirements

• FIFO Only from Rockhampton, Townsville or Cairns
• Minimum 12 months' mining haul truck experience
• Proven experience on CAT 777 or above
• Training transcript /LMS/Skills List signed by an SSE or SSE Delegate
• VOC – must be signed and dated by an authorised person/SSE
• RII certificate from RTO
• Current Standard 11, Coal Board Medical (or willing to obtain) & a valid driving licence
• A strong commitment to safety
• A team-focused attitude with a positive work ethic

Qualifications & Certifications

• Training transcript /LMS/Skills List signed by an SSE or SSE Delegate
• VOC – must be signed and dated by an authorised person/SSE
• RII certificate from RTO
• Current Standard 11
• Coal Board Medical (or willing to obtain)
• Valid driving licence
