Night Shift Dispatch Team Leader

We are seeking a Night Shift Dispatch Team Leader for our clients growing Food and Packaging company. This is a full-time opportunity with excellent opportunities to progress your career.

Key Responsibilities:

• Digitise and accurately record all delivery paperwork within the routing system in a timely manner.
• Coordinate and optimise multi-stop delivery schedules, considering vehicle capacity, geographic areas, product categories (chilled, frozen and ambient), and customer timeframes.
• Modify delivery schedules as required to manage last-minute changes, priority orders, or operational demands.
• Prepare and complete daily run sheets and distribute workload instructions to the warehouse loading team.
• Oversee order consolidation to ensure freight is staged correctly and vehicles are ready for dispatch within required timeframes.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, warehouse personnel and internal teams to maintain efficient daily operations.
• Promote and uphold safe work practices and ensure compliance with relevant operational procedures across dispatch functions.

Requirements:
• Preferably holds an HR license.
• Forklift license and First Aid certificate are highly regarded.
• Medically fit and able to pass drug and alcohol testing.
• Ability to provide a current National Police Clearance.
• Willingness to work 10pm - 6:30am, Monday to Friday.
• Willing to work overtime when required or complete delivery runs in the event of staff shortages.
• Strong understanding of delivery scheduling, routing, and load management.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
