Maintenance Supervisor

Located approximately 180km from Laverton, deep within the Yamarna Greenstone Belt, Gruyere is a large-scale open pit gold mine set in a remote desert landscape, delivering world-class production and performance. This is your opportunity to lead maintenance on a newly acquired Ausdrill project and make your mark from day one.

As Maintenance Supervisor, you will report directly to the Project Manager and take full ownership of maintenance performance across a critical fleet of drilling and support equipment.

You will lead from the front, driving safety, accountability and operational excellence while building a high-performing maintenance team in a fast-paced production environment.

This is an 8:6 roster FIFO ex Perth.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

This is not a sit-back role. You’ll be hands-on, visible and accountable.

You will:

• Lead and coordinate all day-to-day maintenance activities, including breakdowns and servicing
• Deliver short-term and long-term maintenance planning
• Manage contractor labour, supply agreements and workforce requirements
• Drive performance through clear direction, coaching and feedback
• Ensure compliance with Ausdrill and client maintenance standards
• Manage budgets, forecasting and critical spares including consignment stock
• Conduct risk assessments, field verifications and system checks
• Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions
• Maintain high standards across safety, governance and legislative compliance
• Contribute to training, development and continuous improvement

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a proven leader who thrives in a high-performance, operational environment and knows how to get the best out of people, equipment and systems.

You will bring:

• Demonstrated experience supervising maintenance within mining or drilling operations
• Strong hands-on experience with surface drill rigs including Rock Commander, Epiroc DML and Pantera 1500
• Proven ability to plan and execute both preventative and breakdown maintenance strategies
• The ability to lead from the front, drive accountability and lift team performance
• A strong safety mindset with a visible, in-field leadership approach
• Experience managing contractors, labour and site requirements
• Strong problem-solving capability with the confidence to make operational decisions under pressure
• Experience managing budgets, reporting and maintenance systems
