THE ROLE

  • Coordinate day‑to‑day activities for both planned and unplanned maintenance, ensuring work is prioritised and executed efficiently
  • Supervise and support trades personnel, providing guidance, coaching, and leadership to maintain a safe, high‑performing work environment
  • Liaise closely with Operators to schedule equipment outages and return‑to‑service requirements with minimal disruption to production
  • Provide timely feedback to Supervisors on job scopes, timeframes, resourcing needs, and recommended work methods
  • Identify and address workplace hazards, taking proactive action to maintain a safe working environment
  • Complete all required administrative tasks, ensuring accurate and timely data entry, documentation, and recordkeeping for all maintenance activities

WHAT DO I NEED

  • Current “C” Class Manual Western Australian driver’s licence
  • Valid and relevant trade qualifications, certificates, and licences
  • Previous experience in a Leading Hand role with 5 years working in a mining environment
  • Competent in diagnostics, troubleshooting & repairing Toyota light vehicles and 4WDs
  • Experience maintaining air conditioning (desirable)
  • Proficient Microsoft office skills
  • Experience with a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) such as Pronto (desirable)
  • Excellent communication skills with a can-do, team-oriented attitude
  • Strong desire to maintain and promote a proactive safe working environment
