Forklift Operator / Yardhand

About the Role

Our National Client, a leading producer and supplier of cement products to the construction industry across Western Australia, is currently seeking an experienced Forklift Operator / Yardhand to join their team in Naval Base on a long-term basis. This is a great opportunity to secure ongoing work with a reputable, well-established organisation.

• Forklift operations
• Manual handling and lifting cement bags to prepare afternoon orders
• General housekeeping and yard maintenance
• Operating a ride-on sweeper
• Basic pallet repairs

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday
• Start times typically 5:00am or 6:00am, finishing approximately 3:00pm - 3:30pm

Pay Rate

• $41.61 per hour + super (Casual)

To Be Successful, You Must Have

• A current Forklift Licence
• A current WA Driver's Licence
• Permanent residency or full Australian work rights (no working holiday visas)
• A good level of physical fitness and ability to perform manual handling tasks
• The ability to pass a full medical, drug and alcohol screen
