FIFO Civil Supervisor - RTIO

Position Details

• Role: FIFO Civil Supervisor
• Rate: $80 per hour
• Roster: 2:1
• Location: Rio Tinto Mesa A, transitioning to RTIO Yandi
• Start Date: Flexible for the right candidate
• Duration: Ongoing, with opportunity to move across multiple projects

Scope of Work

• Decant Pads and Piping

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily site activities across civil/site services teams
• Promote and maintain a strong safety culture on site
• Plan, schedule, and allocate labour, plant, and resources
• Coordinate with site management and subcontractors
• Identify and report hazards, defects, and maintenance requirements
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation

About You

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Civil Construction Supervisory role
• RTIO inducted with proven experience on Rio Tinto sites
• S26 (Section 26) qualification
• Hold BSBWHS414 (WHS Management) and BSBWHS411 (Implement & Monitor WHS Policies)
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams
• Solid understanding of civil construction processes (including piping and earthworks)
• Demonstrated commitment to safety and compliance
