About the Role

MLG is on the hunt for an experienced Mobile Plant Operator to join our crushing and screening crew. If you know your way around loaders, excavators, and dump trucks — and you take pride in keeping plant running at peak performance — we want to hear from you.

Reporting directly to the Site Manager, you’ll be a key player in keeping our crushing and screening operations moving safely and efficiently.

This is a hands-on role for operators who take pride in their equipment and their output.

Key Responsibilities

• Run crushing and screening plant with precision and efficiency
• Manage feeding and tailing processes from the screen
• Complete detailed pre-start checks and documentation each shift
• Carry out daily servicing and maintenance, including:
  • Cleaning cabs and washing windows
  • Greasing lube points
  • Changing tyres and crusher wear parts
  • Refuelling and washing machinery
  • Inspecting ground engaging tools
• Work closely with site leadership to keep production on track
• Uphold strict safety standards and contribute to operational targets

What You Bring

• Minimum 2+ years crushing & screening experience
• Proven experience operating Loaders, Excavators & Dump Trucks
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions on site
• Valid Driver’s Licence
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical, Drug & Alcohol screen & national police clearance
• You’re reliable, safety-focused, and ready to get the job done right.
