Your new role

Seeking an experienced Technology Site Supervisor (S26) to support the delivery of multiple communications and technology infrastructure projects.
This is a hands-on site-based role, acting as the Principal S26, responsible for supervising contractors and ensuring all works are planned and executed safely, efficiently and in compliance with site procedures. You will play a critical role in coordinating construction activities, removing barriers to execution and maintaining strong engagement with site operational teams within an active mining environment.
This position suits an experienced supervisor with a strong background in communications infrastructure, civil works and technology installations, who can quickly integrate into site operations and manage multiple contractor work fronts.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the Principal S26 for technology and communications infrastructure works
Supervise contractors undertaking civil, construction and communications installation activities
Ensure all works are conducted safely and in compliance with site permits, procedures and standards
Lead daily pre-start meetings and confirm all work packs, risk assessments and permits are in place.
Coordinate contractor access, logistics and scheduling across multiple work areas
Liaise with operations to manage SIMOPS interactions and upcoming works
Facilitate safe construction activities including crane lifts, civil works and tower construction
Oversee installation of communications infrastructure including towers, shelters, solar systems, fibre networks and data centre equipment
Supervise installation and commissioning of network equipment, LTE/TETRA infrastructure and associated systems
Monitor contractor performance to ensure scope, quality and safety expectations are met
Identify and resolve site constraints impacting delivery and escalate risks or schedule impacts as required.
Support commissioning and handover of completed infrastructure to operations.

What you'll need to succeed

Essential Requirements

Current S26 qualification with demonstrated experience as the responsible supervisor
Strong contractor supervision experience within mining or heavy industry environments
Proven experience delivering technology and communications infrastructure projects
Demonstrated experience supervising civil and construction works
Experience with communications towers, fibre optic infrastructure and data centre environments
Strong understanding of work management processes including permits, isolations and risk management
Ability to coordinate multiple contractors and manage competing site priorities
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills

Desirable Experience
Supervision of LTE, TETRA or telecommunications infrastructure installations
Network equipment installation within communications racks
Fibre optic installation and testing
Experience with solar-powered communications sites and remote infrastructure.
