Company Description:Anglo American Steelmaking Coal Steelmaking coal is an essential ingredient in blast-furnace steel manufacture, producing steel used for critical building and infrastructure around the world. Job Description:As the Electrical Coordinator you will be responsible for the coordination of all electrical maintenance activities and resources within Outbye. In this role you will be accountable for:Coordination of maintenance activities to deliver maintenance targets safely, optimally, and in accordance with the annual maintenance and engineering plans.Create and implement rolling monthly plans that optimise the maintenance of the operational equipment. This includes the development of monthly work, resource plans and targets.Monitor performance against the plan and lead the operations team to identify the risks of delivering the plan.Ensure appropriate materials, equipment and instructions are organised prior to the execution of maintenance plans.Monitor and analyse equipment performance data to diagnose risks to plan and improvement opportunities. Ensure all changes are risk assessed.Drives a culture of identifying the root cause of downtimeContribute to the development of annual budgets using the principles of zero-based budgeting.Provide quality technical advice, in particular, electrical engineering advise to the maintenance team.Identify root causes of major down time, accidents, non-compliances to schedules, statutory requirements and implement appropriate remedial actions in conjunction with internal and external resources.Participate in mine site productivity and process improvement programs, and more generally to find and raise improvement ideas in areas such as safety, production, cost and efficiency.Comply with all statutory requirements.Consistently apply Safety & Health principles in all site interactions and take full ownership for safety on site and in your work area. Qualifications:Demonstrated supervisory experience within an underground coal mine is essential.Electrical Trade degree/qualification and relevant tickets (Electrical License, EEHA, LVSR, Complex Isolator, HV Switching).Hold the Supervisor and Risk Management qualifications (S1, S2, S3 & G2).Proficient experience with SAP or a similar program is desirable.Demonstrated ability to lead teams and drive performance in a safe and productive manner.Display ability to be able to collaborate and communicate across different levels of the organisation.
