Senior Planner

The Opportunity

Cape Preston Port Company (CPPC) is seeking an experienced Senior Planner to join our Port Maintenance Planning team on an 8/6 FIFO roster from Perth.

Reporting to the Superintendent – Planning & Reliability, you’ll play a key role in supporting Port Operations by leading planning processes, coordinating stakeholders, and driving maintenance performance across the port.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise Weekly Planners & Marine Planners and lead planning processes
• Coordinate maintenance planning processes and routines.
• Analyse SAP data to track KPIs and drive performance improvements
• Lead KPI review meetings and identify improvement opportunities
• Maintain SAP master data and planning system integrity
• Support audits, reporting, and administrative requirements
• Build strong stakeholder relationships across Port Operations
• Coach planners and promote best-practice planning processes
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Provide ad-hoc support for marine fleet compliance projects

Successful applicant will have:

• Trade or Engineering qualification (or equivalent experience)
• Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and influencing skills
• Proven experience in maintenance/work management planning
• Solid understanding of asset and work management principles
• Proficient in SAP, MS Project, and Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of WHS and environmental systems and legislation
• Current driver’s licence
• Ability to obtain a Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC)
• Familiarity with MPM (Marine Planned Maintenance) for Windows (desirable).
