About the Role
This is a highly practical, hands-on role for someone who enjoys working closely with site teams to solve real operational challenges. You won't be sitting behind spreadsheets producing reports all day - you'll be turning data into action, improving maintenance execution, and helping sites achieve measurable reliability outcomes.
You'll play a key role in strengthening maintenance practices, improving asset availability, and embedding a practical, consistent reliability approach across multiple operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Partnering directly with site teams to improve maintenance execution and asset performance
- Analysing asset data and translating insights into practical improvement actions
- Identifying recurring equipment issues and driving structured root cause analysis
- Improving planning and scheduling discipline to enhance maintenance efficiency and work quality
- Supporting implementation of condition-based and predictive maintenance strategies
- Working collaboratively with operations teams to ensure reliability initiatives are effectively executed onsite
- Coaching supervisors and maintenance teams in reliability principles and decision-making
- Contributing to the ongoing development of Emeco's asset performance and work management frameworks
About You / Requirements
- Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent industry experience
- Proven experience improving asset performance within mining, heavy mobile equipment, or similar operational environments
- Strong understanding of maintenance planning, work management, and execution disciplines
- Ability to interpret operational data, identify trends, and convert findings into practical improvements
- Practical, site-focused mindset with confidence engaging frontline teams and operational leaders
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence outcomes
Additional Requirements
- You must have unrestricted Australian working rights
- Successful completion of pre-employment medical, including drug & alcohol screening
- Willingness to undergo Federal Police Check if required
Qualifications & Certifications
- Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent industry experience
