Position Details:

• Job Title: Maintenance Safety Training - Supervisor
• **Employment Type:**Permanent Full Time - Kalgoorlie residential or FIFO ex Perth
• **Roster:**4/3 12hr shifts

Here’s what awaits you:

• Responsible for training and compliance for underground mobile maintenance and electricians
• Develop, implement, and maintain safe work procedures and promote high safety awareness.
• Develop, coordinate, and monitor procedural systems, processes, and training in accordance with company and legislative requirements.
• Conducting verification of competency assessments for all employees to ensure skill requirements are met.
• Undertake regular inspections and task observations to ensure compliance and a safe work environment.
• Inspect and manage emergency equipment and systems in the underground environment.

Experience:

• Underground production experience in a mechanised hard rock underground environment
• Detailed working knowledge of the Workplace Health and Safety Act and Workplace Health and Safety (Mining) Regulations
• Demonstrated experience in competency based training and assessment methods
• Previous exposure to incident investigation, auditing processes and workplace inspections
• Ability to communicate effectively and build relationships within all levels of the business
• Intermediate competency in excel and presentation applications

Qualifications:

• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (essential)
• Certificate IV in Occupational Health and Safety (essential)
• Relevant Trades background (desirable)
• Minimum "C" class Manual unencumbered drivers licence
