Safety Advisor

Your new company

You will be joining a major global mining and processing organisation with extensive surface based operations, including copper and lead smelting, zinc-lead concentration, and surface support activities such as product movement and workshop functions.

Your new role

As the Safety Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting safe work practices across multiple surface processing environments. The position can be hands on field engagement, analytical and office based. This role offers the ability to grow into higher level safety work and broaden your exposure across multiple operational areas.

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience in a safety role within mining, processing, heavy industry, or similar environments
• Strong understanding of inspections, audits, and incident investigation processes
• Experience facilitating risk assessments
• Exposure to iCAM methodology and/or process safety principles
• Confidence engaging with frontline teams and supervisors
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• A proactive approach to safety and a passion for improving workplace outcomes
