About the Role

Monadelphous is seeking an experienced QA/QC Lead to join our Engineering Construction division, supporting the delivery of a major mining and minerals project in Western Australia.

This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing all quality assurance and quality control activities across a large-scale, multi-discipline project covering SMP and E&I scopes. The position will initially be based in the Perth office from May/June, before transitioning to site mid/late August on a 2:1 roster.

We are open to candidates based in any major Australian capital city.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the project Quality team, overseeing all QA/QC activities and deliverables
• Promote a strong quality culture across the project, driving continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with Monadelphous Quality Management Systems, client specifications, contract requirements, and ISO 9001 standards
• Provide technical advice and guidance on quality systems, procedures, and inspection requirements
• Liaise with the client on all quality matters, including management and resolution of non-conformances
• Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of project quality plans and ITPs
• Manage Material Data Records (MDRs) from collation through to review and final submission
• Monitor and manage supplier and subcontractor quality performance
• Plan and execute internal and external quality audits
• Coordinate the collation, review, and approval of all project quality documentation and deliverables
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and key stakeholders

What You’ll Bring

• Proven experience in a QA/QC leadership role within mining, minerals, oil & gas, or major construction projects
• Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems
• CSWIP 3.2 Senior Welding Inspector or WTIA CSWI (highly regarded)
• NACE Level 2 or equivalent coating/inspection qualification (highly regarded)
• PCN Weld Inspection Level 2 or equivalent
• AS 2214 Welding Supervisor and/or AS1796 Certificate 10 (desirable)
• Insulation certification (CINI Level 2 or ICorr Level 2) highly desirable
• Internal auditor qualification and experience
• Demonstrated experience across multi-discipline scopes (SMP and E&I highly desirable)
• Strong knowledge of welding, NDT, and inspection processes
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a strong client-facing approach
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to work a 2:1 FIFO roster
• Valid right to work in Australia
