About the Role

This is a great opportunity for experienced Pipe Fitters to join our team working on the FMG Green Iron project located at Christmas Creek. Civmec has been awarded the delivery of the Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Piping, Electrical & Instrumentation packages of work that kicked off in June 2025. The project offers a 3:1 roster with transport to and from site provided from Perth Airport.

Casual Role with a maximum of 6 month duration.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabrication and installation of various sizes of pipework consisting of a range of exotic materials and associated piping components.
• Cut, bevel and fit up pipes in accordance with isometric drawings.
• Assemble pipe spools including all valves and associated instruments.
• Demonstrated experience with Pipe Fitting, especially with Flanges
• Work with other disciplines including riggers to position and erect pipes of various sizes.
• Maintain and keep tools and equipment in a safe and clean condition. Lock them away or return to store when not required
• Perform other general duties as required

About You / Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years heavy industry experience as a Pipe Fitter is essential
• Australian Trade Qualification
• Previous construction experience within the mining and resources (preferable)
• High Risk work licence with EWP (WP)
• Current Working Safely at Heights Certificate
• Nationally recognised Construction Safety Awareness Card (White Card)
• Ability to complete and pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen.
