Heavy Diesel Fitter / Plant Mechanic
7/7 Lifestyle Roster | $73–$79/hr + Super (All Hours) | Full-Time Permanent

We’re currently seeking skilled Heavy Diesel Fitters / Plant Mechanics to support our site-based operations, working on a modern fleet in a well-resourced and safety-driven workshop environment.

About the Role:
As a key member of the maintenance crew, you’ll play an important role in ensuring the performance and reliability of a large fleet of heavy earthmoving equipment.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Carrying out scheduled servicing, repairs, and inspections
- Diagnosing faults across a variety of heavy mobile plant
- Completing component replacements and major rebuild work
- Responding to breakdowns and completing repairs efficiently
- Working both independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Following site safety procedures and maintenance systems at all times
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Trade qualification as a Heavy Duty Diesel Fitter or Plant Mechanic
- Demonstrated post-trade mining experience
- Experience maintaining heavy earthmoving equipment
- Current Coal Board Medical and Standard 11 (or willingness to obtain)
- Current Queensland Driver Licence
- Strong commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and team collaboration
