About the Role:
We’re seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team, responsible for keeping heavy earthmoving equipment operating at peak performance. In this hands-on role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring equipment reliability, safety, and efficiency across all operations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing maintenance on heavy equipment, including component change-outs, overhauls, inspections, fault finding, and repairs
- Executing planned maintenance and breakdown repairs safely, on time, and within budget
- Accurately recording and reporting all maintenance activities
- Working independently while complying with site procedures, safety standards, and OEM guidelines
- Supporting a safe, productive, and well-maintained workshop environment
Roster: Monday to Friday | 10-hour shifts | Overtime available
About You:
To succeed in this role, you’ll bring strong technical capability and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
Your skills and experience will include:
- Proven experience in heavy equipment maintenance or component rebuilds
- Solid understanding of earthmoving machinery and internal component systems
- Hands-on experience with CAT ET and SIS diagnostic tools
- Ability to strip, assess, rebuild, test, and recommission components to OEM standards
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
- A reliable, team-oriented attitude with the flexibility to meet deadlines and changing priorities
