Key Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled and breakdown tyre maintenance on a range of mobile mining equipment
- Remove, fit and rotate OTR mining tyres and wheels
- Conduct pressure checks and accurately record tyre usage data
- Work independently while following direction when required
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and contribute to team-based solutions
- Actively promote and uphold MacKellar’s strong safety culture
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Certificate II in Automotive Tyre Servicing Technology OR
- AURKTJ011 Remove, inspect and fit earthmoving and off-the-road tyres
- AURKTJ012 Remove, inspect and fit earthmoving and off-the-road wheel and rim assemblies
- RIIMPO208F Operate support equipment
- RIISAM202E Isolate and access plant
- RIISAM301F Test operational functions of vehicles and equipment
- Proven experience fitting heavy earthmoving tyres
- Current Queensland Coal Board Medical (or willingness to obtain)
- Current Standard 11 (or willingness to obtain)
- Current Queensland driver licence
