Mechanical Fitter

About the Role

Protech are looking for experienced Mechanical Fitters to perform work with our client on a 20:8 roster near Karratha.

• Penalty Pay rates + Allowances
• Flexible start dates available
• 20:8 FIFO Roster working 10 hour days
• Point of Hire Perth or Karratha only
• Perm directly with the project contractor with long-term project opportunities available

Key Responsibilities

• New Plant build and installations
• Execute work by following comprehensive procedures in conjunction with adhering to work instructions laid down in work packs
• Fault finding, diagnostics, and troubleshooting

Qualifications & Certifications

• Trade Certificate
• CPR/ LVR
• EWP ticket
• Experience working on oil/ gas projects as well as Construction within the mining industry mandatory
• Work Safely at Heights
• Current Driver’s License
• White Construction Card
• Confined Space Entry – desirable
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screen
• Full Working Rights in Australia
