Your new role
In this fast-paced sales environment, you'll work with a steady stream of warm incoming enquiries, guiding customers through solar options with clarity and care. Your typical day will involve:
- Following up on warm leads and inbound enquiries to understand customer needs and assess solar suitability.
- Communicating solar products and packages in a personable and professional way.
- Preparing and sending quotes, pricing information, and proposals in line with company processes.
- Building strong relationships with prospective and existing customers to encourage trust and engagement.
- Answering customer questions about solar systems, installation, warranties, rebates, and government incentives.
- Maintaining current knowledge of solar technology, system configurations, inverters, batteries, and industry programs.
- Updating and managing customer information, sales activities, and pipeline records accurately in the CRM system.
- Meeting or exceeding sales targets, KPIs, and customer satisfaction metrics.
- Upholding company values and contributing positively to the team culture.
- Performing additional duties as required to support the sales team and broader business operations.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience in sales and customer-facing roles
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly
- Experience in sales within solar or similar blue-collar industries is highly regarded
- Confidence managing warm leads, handling inbound enquiries, and following structured sales processes
- Ability to learn and retain technical product knowledge
- Self-motivation and drive to meet targets, KPIs, and quality outcomes
- A collaborative, positive attitude, contributing to a supportive and values-driven team culture
