We are seeking a dynamic Project Engineer to join our high-performing team in Melbourne. This role is pivotal in driving operational excellence across trade, mining, and energy projects. The successful candidate will combine technical expertise with strong financial acumen, people leadership, and client relationship management to deliver projects that meet global standards.

About You

• Lead and manage end-to-end project delivery within trade/mining/energy sectors.
• Oversee project budgets, financial reporting, and cost control to ensure profitability.
• Provide technical guidance and solutions aligned with industry best practices.
• Manage and mentor cross-functional teams to achieve operational goals.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
• Collaborate with sales teams to identify opportunities and drive client-focused solutions.
• Ensure compliance with corporate governance, safety, and regulatory standards.

Basic Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mining, or related discipline).
• Minimum 7 years' experience in project engineering within trade/mining/energy industries.
• Proven financial management skills, including budgeting and forecasting.
• Strong technical knowledge of industry processes and standards.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in managing diverse teams.
• Excellent client management and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Commercial acumen with experience in sales or business development.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multinational corporate environment.
