The opportunity

Reporting to the Delivery Lead, the Senior Project Engineer – Infrastructure is responsible for overseeing the development of multiple projects from initiation to completion and handover at the Pilbara Mineral Pilgangoora mine site under the guidance of the Delivery Lead.

This is a casual role based at our West Perth office, conveniently located near the City West train station.

Key responsibilities

  • Support the end‑to‑end delivery of infrastructure projects from scoping through to completion and handover.
  • Develop project scopes, schedules and cost estimates to support effective project planning.
  • Manage tendering activities and contractors to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
  • Monitor project progress, costs and risks, and implement corrective actions where required.
  • Work closely with site teams and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with operational requirements.
  • Ensure all project activities comply with safety, quality, environmental and PLS policy requirements.

About You

  • Degree‑qualified in Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering infrastructure or construction projects, ideally within a mining or industrial environment.
  • Sound understanding of project lifecycles, including scoping, planning, execution and handover.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively with contractors and internal stakeholders.
  • Proactive and organised, with a focus on safety, quality and cost control.
  • Holds a valid WA C Class driver’s licence.
