The Opportunity:
You’ll make a meaningful impact by helping keep our people informed, inspired, and connected across our Gold Fields mine sites. Your expertise will shape the way key messages are delivered, understood, and lived by employees as you work closely with site leadership to understand and delivery their communications strategy.
This role is Perth*‑*based, with up to 50% travel to asset to stay closely connected with our mine site communities.

What You’ll Do
- Implement the Group Communications Strategy at site level, ensuring employees understand how it applies locally.
- Guide and support the GM and senior leadership team with communication planning and content.
- Deliver clear, tailored communications to keep site-based employees informed of business priorities and how they play a part in achieving them.
- Create and edit high‑quality written and visual content for newsletters, intranet, emails, presentations, and employee updates.
- Uphold brand and style guidelines across all internal communication touchpoints.
- Support in-country programs that strengthen engagement and foster a positive workplace culture.
What You’ll Bring
- Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
- Experience in an internal communications role, ideally in a complex or highly regulated industry.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the resilience to navigate competing priorities and deliver clear, balanced communication.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
- Competency in technology such as SharePoint, Microsoft suite and Adobe
- High levels of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
- A collaborative mindset, and enthusiasm for spending time on site connecting with employees.
