Monadelphous is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Mackay Branch, delivering major shutdown and maintenance projects across the Bowen Basin.

This is a key leadership role suited to a commercially astute Project Manager with strong shutdown, subcontractor, and heavy equipment experience.

This position will initially be based in the office Monday to Friday during the planning and preparation phase. Once projects transition to execution, the role will move site based on a 9:5 roster for shutdown delivery.

Key responsibilities include:

• Deliver large-scale shutdown projects valued up to $30 million.
• Manage up to three (3) shutdowns per year.
• Lead and coordinate an execution team of up to 30 personnel.
• Manage multiple subcontractors across complex work scopes.
• Oversee project planning, cost control, scheduling, and resourcing.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and contractual requirements.
• Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships.

• Proven experience as a Project Manager within heavy industry, mining, or shutdown environments.
• Strong subcontractor management experience across multiple work fronts.
• Dragline experience highly regarded.
• Strong background in delivering large shutdown projects.
• High level of leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• Strong commitment to safety and operational excellence.
