RCR Mining Technologies are seeking experienced Hydraulic Fitter to join our team on a fulltime or Casual basis, located in our Bunbury Workshop.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Hydraulic Fitter at RCR Mining Technologies (RCRMT), a leading business unit within NRW Holdings. This position requires excellent hydraulic fitting skills and a thirst for understanding the intricacies of hydraulic systems used in the mining industry. The Hydraulic Fitter must consistently provide efficient and professional hydraulic fitting services to support the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hydraulic components and systems in mining technologies.

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Manage Hydraulic Hoses, Tubes, Valves, and Pump overhauls.
• Assemble to OEM tolerances and specification
• Operates and maintains all workshop equipment within your skill set
• Reviews drawings, instructions, blueprints, or samples to ensure accurate production
• Provide feedback and input in relation to opportunities for improvement, i.e. tooling, processes and working environment
• Ensure that all machines and equipment are maintained in a clean and tidy condition and that no items are left loose
• Overseeing, guiding, and assisting apprentices and trades assistants

To be considered for this position, you must possess the following:

• Live locally or willing to relocate to the Southwest
• Australian recognised Trade Certificate
• Current Driver’s Licence
• Work at Heights Certificate
• Confined Space Certificate
• Dogging/Rigging (preferred but not essential)
• Forklift Ticket (preferred but not essential)
• Fitness to handle manual labour and provide a clear drug and alcohol screening
• A solid commitment to safety, along with a genuine reliable nature.
