Heavy Duty Fitter

About the role:

As a Heavy Duty Fitter with NRW, you are responsible for supporting the onsite team in scheduled maintenance, workshop, diagnostics and breakdowns on a wide variety of civil construction equipment.

About the Site:

Castle Hill is a gold site in the Goldfields. Site is about 510kms north-east of Perth, 40km north of Coolgardie and 50km northwest of Kalgoorlie. NRW have been awarded the contract by Evolution Mining (Mungari) Pty Ltd for the surface mining at Castle Hill. NRW will provide earthworks initially, then load and haul, drill and blast (via Action Drill & Blast) and construction of supporting facilities on-site.

What we are looking for:

• Australian Manual Drivers Licence
• Australian/NZ Recognised Trade Certificate
• Tickets and licences EG: Forklift, Rigging, Crane, etc (desired)
• National Police Clearance (within 3 months)
• Minimum 3 years post trade experience (MEM)
• Experience with CAT, CAT 777, 785 Haul Trucks, 250T Excavators, 16M Graders, D10 Dozers and Watercarts
• Demonstrated behaviours which align with NRW’s values and safety standards
• A “can do” attitude and strong team commitment
• Australian work rights
