The Opportunity

The city is growing, diversifying, and investing heavily in infrastructure creating a strong pipeline of work and long‑term stability for skilled tradespeople.

• Roster: 7:7 day-shift roster — 12‑hour days, Tuesday to Monday
• Annualised Wages: Competitive Remuneration & Benefits + $28,600 p/annum location allowance paid weekly for technicians who lives in Mt Isa or Cloncurry
• Role Located: Mount Isa – travel to Cloncurry & surrounding area’s

What we are looking for

• Trade qualification as a Mobile Plant Technician / Diesel Fitter or equivalent
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings
• Understanding of local and mine‑specific HSE and industrial legislation
• Strong diagnostic skills, including onboard system analysis and troubleshooting
• Excellent communication skills and a customer‑focused approach
• Commitment to safety, compliance and mine‑site standards
• Ability to work independently under pressure while maintaining high‑quality standards
