About Our Program
Our Vacation Program is a paid, full-time internship that offers students the opportunity to learn in a practical and hands-on environment. You will be paired with a specialist in your chosen field to provide professional supervision and mentoring.
Positions are available in Perth based roles in our head office, or site based in Western Australia. Site based roles will work on a fly in fly out roster.
Successful applicants will work with us for 12 weeks over the summer break from November to February, where you’ll apply your academic skills to real life situations and to make a real difference delivering a key project for your team.
After the vacation program, opportunities exist to stay on part-time as an undergraduate whilst you finish your degree, and/ or continue to a Graduate role with us.
About You
- Currently studying towards a Tertiary degree in any of the following:
- Environmental and Earth Sciences, Safety, Occupational Hygiene, Health, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy & Organisational Pshycology
- Available to work full-time for the duration of the 12 week summer program
- Full time working rights in Australia ( citizenship or PR status)
- High level evaluation and analysis skills
- Problem solving, innovative thinking
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work with tight timeframes
- Possess a positive attitude and the confidence and willingness to 'have a go'
- Previous work experience (desirable)
