About the Role

The successful candidate will be employed on a permanent full-time basis and will operate on a Fly in Fly out or Drive in Drive out basis from Perth. The role is part of the Utility category and uses a 2/1 roster with varied shift times across multiple locations. This is a full-time, FIFO role with 14 days on and 7 days off, with meals, uniforms and accommodation included.

What does a day in the life of a Utility look like?

• Day and Night shift - must be flexible to work both
• Housekeeping duties - room and ensuite cleaning, making beds
• Kitchen hand duties - assist with basic food prep and significant dishwashing
• Dining room duties - maintain cleanliness, stock and crib food levels
• Bar & retail duties - serving residents in the camp bar and shop areas
• Common Area Cleaning - emptying bins, sweeping, mopping, general cleaning
• Laundry Services - washing, drying & sorting of linen and other items
• Mine Site Cleaning - general, ablution and mine site offices cleaning
• Repetitive, physical tasks, including heavy lifting and bending
• Assists the on-site broader team as required
• Demonstrate a strong safety culture

About You / Requirements

• The ability to work well independently, as well as with other team members
• A commitment to genuine, friendly customer service
• A motivated, enthusiastic and positive ‘can-do’ attitude
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment, sometimes for long periods.
• Pride in personal appearance & hygiene
• Current Australian driver's license (C class)
• Unlimited Australian working rights
• Police clearance (within 6 months)
• Hospitality experience
• RSA (highly desirable)
