About the Role

The role also collaborates with other managers and personnel on broader matters such as workplace safety, animal welfare, compliance, maintenance, biosecurity, production, and profitability, ensuring consistent standards across all Company-operated farms, not just those in Regional NSW.

  • Drive farm performance and efficiency across egg production, flock cycles, maintenance, logistics, and packing operations
  • Conduct regular farm visits to monitor standards, provide guidance, and resolve operational issues
  • Coordinate planning for flock rotations, cleaning, depopulation, and repopulation activities
  • Support staff development through training, onboarding, inductions, and capability building
  • Manage contractors, suppliers, and service providers while ensuring accurate records and documentation are maintained
  • Collaborate across farms and perform additional duties or temporary coverage as required by the National Farms Manager

About You

  • 5+ years' experience in agricultural or livestock-based operations
  • Strong leadership and people management experience
  • Proven livestock management skills, particularly poultry rearing and laying systems
  • Sound knowledge of food safety, biosecurity, and occupational health and safety
  • Effective communication, training, and teamwork capabilities
  • Competent in record keeping, documentation, and reporting
  • Proficient computer skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Basic financial literacy, including budgeting and capital expenditure understanding
